Communication Skills for Child Care Professionals (9 hours)

DCR-455 (0.9 CEUs) Communicate with confidence by learning basic concepts of developing strong communication skills when working in a child care setting. Course provides an introduction to the basic concepts of speaking, writing, interpersonal communication strategies, and critical techniques for communicating with parents and co-workers. Meets the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) training requirements for Child Care Teachers in a center setting. Core of Knowledge: Professionalism and Community.
