Basics Watercolor Painting - ON
Description:
Have you always wanted to learn to paint in watercolor but didn't have the time to attend a traditional class? Now you can learn to paint online, in the comfort of your own home. With classes conducted over the internet, lessons consist of readings, viewing video demonstrations on DVD or CD, class discussions, and guidance from the instructor. The focus of this class is on basic techniques, materials, tools, color mixing, and "seeing" your subject.
Students view/read the lectures and then interact with the instructor and other students over the Internet. If students have a digital camera or scanner, they can send photographs of their paintings and the instructor will provide personalized feedback to the student (optional).
Designed for those who have no or little experience in watercolor, the focus is on getting comfortable with basic techniques and enjoying the process of painting. The basics of materials, tools, techniques, color mixing and “seeing” your subject will be explored. Skills needed to paint a still life, flowers and a landscape will be covered. The class is designed to be fun and inspirational and will focus on how to relax and enjoy the process of painting.
