Internet Principles
Description:
Introduces techniques for searching the Internet and evaluating online information. Covers Internet components, terminology, history, and ethical and security issues. Includes the creation and publication of web pages using HTML. 3 lecture hours. This course is delivered in a combination lecture and hands-on format. NOTE: Same as CMSC 155. Credit can be earned for one course only.
Prerequisite: ENGL 051 or RDNG 051 or ESOL 051.
