Thermodynamics
Description:
Prerequisite: PHY 2200 taken in the same or a previous semester Students learn the law of thermodynamics and properties of matter to describe status of systems and processes involving heat and work. Students use the basic laws and thermal properties to perform thermal cycle analyses on idealized cycles related to power plants, heat pumps, refrigeration systems, gas turbines, and pisten engines.
