Introduction to Database
Description:
Prerequisite: ITS 1015 and ITS 1020
Students learn about database management systems (DBMS).
Topics include the advantages and disadvantages of using a
DBMS, the major types of database products, the use of fourth generation languages, and the management and administration of a DBMS. A demonstration of a microcomputer database and laboratory experience are included in this course.
