Fundamentals of Physics II

Description:
Continues the basic principles of physics for students who are not expecting to major in engineering or the physical sciences. Covers the phenomena, concepts, and theories of classical and modern physics; includes electricity and magnetism, optics, and selected topics from modern physics. This course, along with PHYS 101, is appropriate for students in health care professional schools (physical therapy, etc.) or certain technical programs that require a year of non-calculus based physics. 4 credits : 3 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours per week. This course may be used to fulfill 4 credits in the biology/physical science area of the general education requirements. Prerequisite: PHYS 101
