Description:
This course provides a study of college-level algebraic concepts and skills, which emphasis graphical analysis, and applications of the following basic functions: polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic. The course content includes algebraic operations, functions, graphing, theory of equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, matrices and system of linear equations. There will be use of graphing calculator – TI-83+ preferred. Students using any other calculator will be responsible for its operation. Completion of this course with grades of C or higher is required to qualify for MAT 241, Calculus I for Science/Engineering.
