Infant and Toddler Development
Description:
This course is designed to provide an in-depth examination from birth through age three years. Emphasis is placed on theories of development, the effect of the environment, the role of caregivers, health and safety issues, and contemporary issues. Prerequisite: EDUC 103 (the Young Child) and 104 (Materials and Curriculum in Early Childhood) or equivalent . Twenty hours of field placement in a child care center is required
