Description:
Personal Law introduces students to the fundamentals of law and the American legal system. The course is designed for non-business majors seeking to learn how law effects their personal lives. Students will learn about the legal system and basic principles of law, as well as applications of the law relating to home ownership, rental property, marriage, motor vehicles, employment, insurance, and estate planning. This course does not meet the requirements for a business course. Prerequisite: exemption/completion of READ-101.
