This course outlines the essentials of the reading process for application of appropriate reading methodology in secondary content courses. This course will introduce teachers to methods and strategies to incorporate content area reading instruction into secondary courses. Teachers will learn how to assess reading skills and provided appropriate motivational reading activities to improve student performance in content areas.
