Description:
Fundamentals of Music is a general introduction to reading and writing music. Elements of music, notation and terminology, theory, scale formation, triads, chords and their inversions, sight-singing, ear-training, and introduction to the keyboard are included. Prerequisite: exemption/completion of READ-101. Three hours lecture each week.
