Description:
This course introduces the concepts and practices used in financial accounting. Topics studied include the use of journals and ledgers as well as the preparation of financial statements for a single proprietorship. Additional topics studies include cash, accounts and notes receivable, merchandise inventory, depreciation, current liabilities, and guidelines. Procedures for maintaining the records for service and merchandise firms are emphasized.
