Program Description:
The Associate of Applied Science degree enables you to qualify for a position as a police officer, security officer, or a position in corrections. This program also serves those already in the field who wish to update their skills. People working in criminal justice must know how to interact with other agencies, work well with people on a daily basis, communicate clearly in writing and speaking, work with data, investigate cases and present them in court, and plan and organize total agency operations.
The Associate of Arts degree enables you to transfer to a 4 year institution and obtain a bachelor's degree.
