Program Description:
Students may tailor the Information Services Technology program to meet individual needs by choosing this career program option option. Through course work in Web applications and authoring, OOP, JavaScript, Java, Web Graphics, and writing, students will master the knowledge and skills necessary to assume responsibility in the workplace for the construction and maintenance of Internet and Intranet Web sites. It is anticipated that, in the future, courses such as these may be applicable toward nationally recognized certification in the industry. Graduates will be prepared to enter the emerging field of Web site development.
