Program Description:
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree provides you with a
multidisciplinary overview of the business and management practices used in industry and
government today. You'll examine complexities in the business environment and individual
organizations in the context of external factors such as economy, technology, and competition.
You'll also discuss how to approach the management of the organization through good business
practices in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling.
When you graduate, you'll understand key concepts and theories in business and management, the
impact of the global marketplace and the principles of social responsibility and managerial
ethics. You'll be prepared to perform research and analyze business situations using contemporary
business tools such as the personal computer, the World Wide Web, and decision-support and
strategic-planning systems.
You'll possess the interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills needed to effectively
and efficiently communicate your findings, conclusions, and recommendations to individuals and
groups inside the organization and to outside stakeholders. Finally, you'll have the leadership
and team-management skills to manage the process of change and innovation that is critical to
success in today's rapidly evolving business environment.
