Program Description:

The University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business webMBA program is the first AACSB-accredited MBA program to be offered completely online. Students never have to come to campus. As a result students from around the country have taken advantage of this quality program ranked among the best online graduate programs in 2001 by U.S. News & World Report. The program is taught primarily by full-time UB professors who bring scholarship and practical experience to their courses. The University makes no distinction between degrees earned online and those earned on campus.

The program consists of three parts: the core courses which cover the functional areas of business for students who enter the program without a business background; cross-functional courses which build on the core courses to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of business operations; and electives in information-based disciplines. Electives offered are: Investment Analysis, Database Management, Internet Business-Site Development, Managerial Challenges of Global Electronic Commerce, and Supply Chain Management. Students generally take 30 to 48 credits to complete their degrees, depending on their academic background.
